An eventful day as, in addition to the solar eclipse, I was questioned by two policemen in Doultons Clay Pit in relation to a knife incident that had taken place in the wood earlier that morning. Luckily a case of mistaken identity although in fairness I did match the description given (tall, dark and handsome obviously!) Nature wise, two pairs of teal were spotted on Lodge Farm Reservoir - another picture first for me - and my first butterfly of 2015 was also spotted, a comma enjoying the mild sunny day.
