Marbled White, Large Skipper, Small Heath, Ringlet, Small Tortoiseshell and Long-Tailed Tit
The first day of the forecast mini-heatwave prompted a quick after work visit to try and make the most of it while it lasted! Less breeze than of late brought out a few more butterflies including this marbled white, large skipper, small heath, ringlet and small tortoiseshell. A flock of young long-tailed tits were also spotted flitting around in the wood.
