Painted Lady, Marbled White, Southern Hawker, Small Heath, Common Darter and Four-Spotted Chaser
A hastily arranged Tuesday off work proved to be quite fruitful. The baking hot sunshine brought out butterflies and dragonflies aplenty including this painted lady, marbled white and southern hawker among others. All in all, not a bad day. The only down side, it's back to work tomorrow!
Butterfly watch - common blue, large skipper, marbled white, meadow brown, painted lady, peacock, red admiral, ringlet, small heath, small tortoiseshell and speckled wood
