Common Pipistrelle, Grey Wagtail and Bumble Hole

On a hastily booked Monday off work I happened upon a bat survey taking place in the wood. Numerous boxes showed signs of bat presence i.e. droppings, and a few had bats inside including these common pipistrelle. Sadly there were no signs of the kingfisher on Bumble Hole Lake, albeit a grey wagtail momentarily landed on the same perch. Better luck next time.
